'before and after's' are always fun!

we had these Three pieces of furniture, that we thought it'd be great to re-do some how- and we're thinking Painting. i know your thinking.. why? they are so beautiful already!? haha. no. we didn't think that either. they are old, and scrathed and in need of some love. the first small table came from my parents house. I remember using it when i was really little.

the next two, we had at the house, the small one in the living room, and the dresser in the guest/now Baby room. we didn't even know they Matched eachother! they are very well made, and they came from his Grandma and Grandpa Bourdeau.

drumroll Please......
taadaa! here they are, we Reaally ReAALLy love the way they came out. we did this light Ivory color. Rylan is a trooper, sanding all these detailed parts by hand looke like no fun at all.

this one, i think i am going to make a cusion for it that matches the curtains that ill get one of these days... and use it for a foot rest in the baby room! since its very low, it will work perfectly.

Here is a sneak peak at the nursery. and a better view of the beautiful dresser!

i am happy that we decided to keep the original drawer pulls, they look great, the wood floor looks beautiful and the green walls are so pretty.. we're happy with how its coming along so far!
